Has There Ever Been a Black Bachelor? Just Curious.

I don't watch the ABC show "The Bachelor" but I've seen it around on "Talk Soup" and such. Am I tripping, or have they never had a black bachelor (or bachelorette)? I'm sure in each season they have a token sista who gets eliminated in early rounds, but have they ever had a black main character? Or is "For the Love of Ray-J" all there is?

Again, I've never watched the show, so someone let me know if I'm off base. And to make this somewhat relevant, the accompanying photo is of Jesse Csincsak, the winner of the last Bachelorette. He was getting his mack on at one of the Playboy Golf parties last weekend. Click over to Yardbarker for my full coverage of the Playboy Golf events.

P.S. I nominate Pops Mensah-Bonsu to be the next Bachelor.

Not only never a *black* bachelor or bachelorette, but never one of color at all...

I think Flav, Tila Tequila, and--hate to say it--Ray J, have been the only non-white reality dating show contestants.
