As you may recall, I coined the word DOMINOTE a few months ago and it has enjoyed niche usage since then. Well, today the DOMINOTE movement goes primetime as both the NBA and NBA D-League have retweeted a Twitter post of mine using the word.
This is no photoshop job, you can read the NBA and NBA D-League tweets yourself. This was all started because of Rod Benson's excellent Internet Dominance song. Rod, can we get a remix? Internet DOMINOTION!
I've always been a fan of basketball player Rod Benson and his hilarious songs. His latest is not only entertaining but also a brilliant PR move -- he shouts out many of the internet's best sports personalities and sites... including Yardbarker! Thanks for the love, Rod. Let us love you back with links and publicity, even though you blog over at Yahoo! instead of Yardbarker. It's all love though. Collectively we DOMINOTE the internet. Boom Tho!!
Hat tip to Ridiculous Upside. (P.S. why didn't *I* get a Facebook message or email about this Rod, hmm?)
Our old friend Elie Seckbach caught up with Marcellus Wiley at the premiere of "The T.O. Show" (p.s. love the show!). The conversation starts out about Michael Vick, but in typical Seckbach fashion somehow segues into an Alana G shout out (at the 1:30 mark):
Thanks for the love, Marcellus. When are you starting a Yardbarker blog? You know you want one!
I think I've been slacking on my awesomeness lately, because I haven't had any haters. So in this special edition of Alana G Haters, I bow down to Vince and the lovely commenters over at Filmdrunk. Just go click over there to drink the haterade.
